Marinda has been fascinated by the study of the human body and has continued to study, teach, and apply this knowledge to her own yoga practice,as well as her yoga students and clinical patients.
“The study of the human body in relationship to yoga brings us to a
much deeper level of understanding of ourselves than merely the muscles and bones….”
Knowledge of anatomy brings greater understanding of how the body moves so that we approach yoga poses from “the inside out, rather than from the outside in”. It is a powerful tool for keeping our bodies safe and our minds grounded in reality. Marinda makes learning about anatomy fun, practical and applicable to the practice and teaching of yoga. Methods of teaching will include lecture, asana, pranayama, bio feedback practice and fun, interactive learning exercises.
This workshop is for yoga students, teachers, yoga enthusiasts and
meets the Yoga Alliance required hours for 200hr teacher training.
