Yoga Teacher

Rachael Eyrich’s first experience with yoga was in 2001 after suffering from a running injury. She began using yoga as a way to regain her range of motion and correct the underlying structural imbalances that contributed to the injury. However, it wasn’t until a difficult pregnancy in 2007 that her practice began to shift from a physical discipline to one that involved other facets of yoga. Due to her experience using yoga to recover from multiple surgeries and accompanying stress, Rachael advocates cultivating mental and physical strength, and flexibility. She achieves this balance by focusing on breathing techniques and the creation of structural symmetry.

Rachael received her 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Certification in July 2008 through Cityoga School of Yoga and Health, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is pursuing additional studies into the therapeutic and rehabilitative applications of yoga. Rachael also holds a B.A. from Indiana University in Communication and Culture. She and her husband, Chad, live in Fort Wayne and have three children.
