ErinErin Long B.S. CPT
Director of personal training & Weight Management

Erin grew up in a small town in Northern Michigan having a love and passion for fitness from the very start. She is a life-long athlete, and played four sports in high school and two sports her freshman year of college. For four years she studied health and fitness and stayed involved with athletes and athletics by working as a student athletic trainer. Erin graduated from Tri-State University in May 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in Health Promotions and Recreational Programming and a Minor in Athletic Training. After graduation she decided to obtain certification as a Personal Trainer, but was unsure of what career direction she wanted to take. She worked in a gym atmosphere prior to finding the right fit at the Kachmann Mind Body Institute, which was exactly the type of place she was looking for to further her career.

Erin is a certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She is pursuing additional fitness certifications, including Strength and Conditioning Coach and Nutrition & Wellness Consultant, and also plans to attend graduate school in the near future to get her masters degree. In the future she hopes to work with and train athletes at the intercollegiate and professional level along with getting into the business and management part of the health field.

Erin's passion for helping others lead healthy lives has lead her to assist hundreds of people in loosing weight and eliminating unnecessary medications. Erin directs the Institute's Personal Training programs and Dr. Rudy Kachmann's 12 Week Weight Loss Program. Erin's compassionate approach comes for the heart. She looks forward to getting to know each member and help them reach their personal goals and live a healthy life.
